Of all life’s experiences, the death of a loved one is often the most painful and challenging that anyone can go through. Bethany Baptist Church of West Los Angeles sincerely understands the pain endured by its families in this situation. As a result, the pastoral and administrative staffs will assist church members in planning the funeral service of a loved one. Comfort, direction, and support will be provided from the initial death notification through the funeral service and after care if needed.

Bethany Baptist Church’s responsibility is to its active members and their immediate family, and it is not obligated to offer the same privileges to non-members. An active Church member is an individual who supports the Church financially, personally, and has attended Church regularly during the past 12 months. Health related issues and other extenuating circumstances are the exceptions. Immediate family members include spouse, parents, children, grandparents, siblings, and in-laws. Bethany Baptist Church also does not recognize common law living arrangements nor same sex unions.
